Hearing Aid - With Headphones
Privacy Policy
What the app collects, what never leaves your device, and how to control it. In short: your audio stays on your phone, there are no accounts, and the only things sent off the device are anonymous usage and crash information, an advertising identifier, and your purchase status.

Audio and recordings stay on your device
The app needs the microphone permission to work at all: it captures sound, amplifies it, and plays it back through your headphones or hearing aids in real time. This happens entirely on your device. Nothing is streamed to us or to anyone else.
If you use the recording feature, the audio file is written to the app’s private storage area on your phone. It is not uploaded anywhere, and we cannot access it. You can play, rename, export or delete your recordings from within the app. Exporting uses Android’s own share sheet, so a recording goes only where you choose to send it.
Uninstalling the app deletes every recording it has saved.
What the app does collect
There are no accounts. We never ask for your name, email address or any profile. The app does send the following to the services listed:
- App interactions such as starting the amplifier or opening a screen, via Google Analytics for Firebase, so we can see which features are used and improve them.
- Crash and error reports, including device model and Android version, via Google Crashlytics, so we can find and fix failures.
- An advertising identifier, via Google AdMob, to show ads in the free version.
- Approximate location derived from your IP address, via Google AdMob, to show regionally appropriate ads.
- Purchase and subscription status, via RevenueCat and Google Play Billing, to unlock premium features and restore purchases.
This information is tied to a device or an advertising identifier, not to you by name. We do not collect your contacts, your precise location, your photos, or the contents of any recording. We do not sell your personal information.
Who the information is shared with
The app sends data to the following services, each of which has its own privacy policy:
- Google — Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, AdMob and Play Billing. policies.google.com/privacy
- RevenueCat — purchase management. revenuecat.com/privacy
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Ads, consent and your choices
The free version shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. Where required, including the UK and the EEA, the app asks for your consent before your data is used for personalised ads, using Google’s User Messaging Platform. You can change that choice at any time from the app’s Settings screen. Buying premium removes ads.
You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings, under Settings › Privacy › Ads, which limits how it can be used for advertising.
Your rights and how to use them
- Stop collection — revoke the microphone permission in your device settings, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes all recordings and local data.
- Request deletion — email us and we will delete any analytics and crash data associated with your device identifier.
- Access — email us and we will tell you what information we hold.
If you are in the UK or the EEA you have rights under the UK GDPR and GDPR, including access, correction, erasure and the right to complain to your data protection authority. If you are a California resident you have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and to request deletion.
Children
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
How long information is kept
Recordings stay on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Analytics and crash data are retained by Google for the periods described in their policies, and no longer than is needed to diagnose and improve the app. Purchase records are retained by Google Play and RevenueCat as required for billing.
International transfers
The services above are operated by companies based in the United States and may process data there, under the safeguards described in their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be shown by a new “last updated” date at the top of this page, and the current version is always available at this address.
